Server Monitoring

Server Monitoring makes host metrics, optional local service checks, and configurable alerts understandable in WebGuard.

At a glance

  • CPU, RAM, swap, load, and uptime with current values and trends
  • Optional local service checks with status and response time
  • Configurable thresholds, stale reports, and recovery alerts

How it helps

The agent runs on the customer's Linux server and reports data outbound to WebGuard. It does not require inbound access to the server.

WebGuard surfaces current health, historical trends, threshold breaches, and stale reports without presenting a performance warning as an outage.

Remote commands and filesystem telemetry are not part of the feature. Service targets and credentials remain in the local agent configuration.
